This segment includes modular, table-top and chain in a wide variety of materials, pitches and surfaces. Typically driven by sprockets, although a subcategory utilizes a snap on chain for it’s drive feature. Many series are used in wet applications and are designed for clean in place. There are abrasion resistant series designed for paper converting applications and harsh environments. Due to the sprocket engagement and conveyor design, these usually track well and provide longer service life than other belt segments.
